A short one-hour drive from my home, Antelope Island beckoned me with its unique and unparalleled charm. It was the height of summer, and the island had become an epicenter for mosquitoes, swarming in numbers that discouraged even the briefest outdoor excursions. Yet, undeterred, I embarked on a quest to explore. Amidst the buzzing mosquito symphony, I encountered a remarkable sight—an imposing herd of bison. Despite the persistent swarm, I captured this captivating image of one of these magnificent creatures.
